Hen's Tooth is a bottle conditioned beer. There's only one description for Hen's Tooth – the nearest thing to real ale in a bottle.

Its balanced blend of strong, rich flavours (6.5% abv) leads to a satisfyingly smooth, clean finish. The active yeast in the bottle continues to condition and mature the ale through its life, producing not only the wonderful flavours but also a smooth, foamy head.

Product Description

Style: Bottle Conditioned Strong Ale.

Appearance : Deep nutty brown with a hint of ruby, and has a thick fawn-coloured head.

Aroma: Malty, caramel and roasted grain.

Taste:  Smooth and rich, with a slightly metallic undertone to a melange of toffee and grassy notes, but with a robust, fruity character and full-bodied and chewy texture.
